ok this entry is dedicated to the one and only lori.  like the one for laura it will go through our entire friendship and all of the reasons i love her =)





well lori says she remembers meeting me one day after school freshman year, but i have no recollection of this so i consider the official beginning of our friendship to be approximately may 13th, 2003 aka service day.  we basically bonded over the disgustingness of having to sort and box gross leaking food for homeless people.  she was wearing a bergen catholic sweatshirt and started telling me and crissy about her boyfriend aj who she had just started dating. 

so we became a little closer, i think we stayed after school a couple times talking, but i could be remembering wrong.  anyways, we did sit next to each other during the italian final, and hoped that we'd be in the same class next year. 

that summer came and went, we didn't hang out cause we weren't really close at that point.... but that was about to change. 

sophomore year began and sure enough we were in the same italian class.  we spent many hours sitting in the back of that classroom talking, yet we always managed to create perfect dialouges and grammar exercises even if we'd spent the entire class period discussing the latest drama (and with our friends, there's ALWAYS some sort of drama), cause we're just that skilled at italian.  we also began sitting at the same lunch table which was awesome.  we went to the bergen/bosco game together that year along with angela, alina, and chez.  it was an interesting day to say the least. 

so for my birthday that year we went to the movies and then went to my house and watched a yankee game where everyone was able to see me and lori's yankees/aaron boon obsession.  that halloween we had one of our most memorable times together.  me and annie joined lori, candice, aj, alina, tony, and angela for halloween at lori's house.  lori and candice were dressed as strippers and aj was dressed like a homeless person complete with dirt on his face.  a few weeks later i went to see lori perform in anything goes, and she was amazing of course. 

the next thing i remember is at the mini-open house that year lori and i ended up sitting on the stairs by the gym and talked for the entire time cause there was absolutely nothing for us to do.  it was a bonding experience.  we also spent alot of time talking during the free we had together that year, but i don't rememeber what day it was on.  somewhere during this time the triple threat (lori, me, and annie) was born.

then the next memorable experience was italian carnevale 2004.  me, lori, aj, tony, alina, kelly, and chez.  needless to say, it was an interesting night. 

then the semi drama began.  well everything was set up, me and lori had spent a ridiculous amount of money buying and getting our dresses altered when the school decided to cancel the semi cause there weren't enough people going. bullshit. but let's backtrack a minute.  about a week before we found out the semi was cancelled, me, lori, annie, chez, aj, and julian went to the mall together so the guys could get to know each other a little before the semi.  it was an eventful evening.  the girls put on a fashion show for the guys through the window of jessica mcclintock, we spent a ridiculous amount of money on food from the cheesecake factory, we dragged the guys into victoria's secret, and julian kind of hit on aj.  this brings me to the first of me and lori's near-death experiences.  well the girls left the guys out by the escalators for like 5 minutes to go to the bathroom.  annie left us to go join the guys, and when me and lori came back we found annie and the guys surrounded by this gang.  apparently chez had made some comment and one of the guys took as a racial insult so he called a bunch of his friends around.  one of the guys had a cut on his face and lori and i were scared they had knives or something.  luckily, aj and julian were able to rationalize with them and they went away, but not before scaring us half to death. 

moving on to happier events, lori and i were inducted into the italian national honor society together.  that spring we also began musical theater class.  wow that class was ridiculous.  first our group had to watch this awful opera, la traviata.  however we managed to present a kickass presentation on it.  we also gave amazing presentations on godspell and guys and dolls.  there was of course drama in this class caused by two of lori's favorite people.  but this isn't surprising cause drama seems to follow us everywhere. 

we had a really fun girls' night out when we (lori, me, candice, laura, and cathleen) went to go see mean girls then went to the starbucks in closter.  and around this time i started going to youth group with her. 

yay and it was finally summer, we kicked it off with lori's amazing sweet sixteen, which i still consider to be the best one i went to.   we became alot closer this summer, i went down to youth group with her almost every week, and we spent a really fun day at the pool tanning before going to julia's sweet sixteen. 

andddddd finally this brings us to junior year.  we started the year off right with near-death experience two aka the creepy guy in dunkin donuts incident.  here's the story.  it was after group and the guys wanted to go to the diner but lori, me, and candice didn't because we had school the next day so we decided to walk to dunkin donuts without the guys.  well somehow we made it through the streets of fairview safely, but when we walked in and got on line this creepy guy who had been sitting in the booth came and stood behind us and started saying stuff like "turn around look at my face, wanna know how it got this way?" (he had a disgusting rash all over his face and fernando later told us he had knives but we still don't know if that's true) so lori called aj and told him to come from the diner and get us cause we didn't feel safe walking out alone.  so aj came with tony and fernando and we got out of there safely. 

we were in italian and religion together so we had lots of fun in mrs. tuttle's class reading ti ho sposato and in sister catherine's class watching movies like "worshipping wilma" and "clerical clarence" and talking about prostrating (sister catherine's favorite thing to do).  we also had lots of bonding time during our day two frees. 

that october we had the ashlee simpson and ryan cabrera concert at AHA =) that is a day we both will remember forever. 

we got out of class one day for about two hours "helping" ms. pena set up for the eighth graders taking the coop.  we got a little carried away when we made the juice boxes spell out "holy angels"

yay then we had ring ceremony.  this was the night christina began taking her "hott pics" and also the night aj introduced himself to my parents as "lori's girlfriend" sorry aj, that's me and candice's job ;)





soon after this i went to see lori be rosabud in "the mystery of edwin drood" with angela, laura, and cathleen.  we made lori an amazing sign, and we cheated and voted for her to be the murderer twice.  she won and we got to see her oscar-worthy murderer's confession. although i'm sure her performance this year as the lead in "aida" is going to be even more oscar-worthy and that lori will sell the show out herself. 

the next memorable thing was snowball.  very fun night, christina was at it again with her "hott pics"





oh yea. i forgot to mention that this is when lori and i became "pink-eye buddies" because lori so kindly shared her pick-eye virus with me.  thanks alot.  hehe but i still love her. 

we went to the angelic evening at the rockleigh country club.  we spent most of the night selling diamonds, drinking strawberry daiquiris, and planning prom which was qucikly approaching. 

along with prom came the prom drama as it always is with our group. so we (lori, aj, me, and cid) did our own thing and had an amazing weekend.  between prom, and the movies, and beating cid at mario party, it was definitely one of the best weekends of my life, and it would not have been the same without my lori. 





the next week we had junior retreat, where we wrote each other notes, learned the ships and sailors game, and did yoga.  then the next day we went to AHA international night to see annie's dances.  we learned how easily amused we are by having a ridiculous amount of fun with the table decorations.  lori and laura also put on a show in which laura "killed" lori. 



then with SAT classes and fencing finally being over i was able to start going to group regularly.  one night, lori, me, and candice had to light aj's birthday cake candles.  simple right? well we get there and there's only one match left.  needless to say it was a very intense moment as lori lit the last match and candice and i worried it was gonna melt her nail.  we accomplished our mission and we are the best candle-lighters ever.  this also began the tradition of lori's sexy photo shoots. 














then lori got her license!!! i am proud to say that i was the first non-family member passenger in her sexy coconut scented car.  her car has quickly become the coolest place to hang out.  we blast  n*sync, drink coffee, and  even read tarot cards in there. 



that week we went to aj's graduation party, then junior youth group, then watched family guy at tony's house.  and i also gave lori her beyond awesome birthday present.

the next weekend we went to the mall instead of studying for finals cause we're badasses like that. we survived the last, disgustingly hot week of school and finals and have finally made it to being SENIORS!!!!!!

so far our summer has been amazing.  we started it off by going to see mr. and mrs. smith then almost getting arrested in westwood for being out past the curfew.  we spent one memorable drive to group reading the saint vincent pallotti comic book in the car.  then lori, me and candice had a "push-up contest" in which we learned we're total wimps, we also have amazing basketball skills.  one night when we were both bored out of our minds i went over lori's house and we went to harmon where we ended up buying hazel eye intensifiers, tanning oil, and four water guns for 99 cents hehe.  we then went to Kmart where we played with the little kid toys and took paint samples cause we're cool like that.  i ended up sleeping over lori's that night aka... passing out on the couches all night.  the next day we tried to tan and make slushies, but it didn't go too well.

to finish this off i want to say that i <3 lori, and i truly consider her to be one of my best friends.  i've had so many memories with her, and i know that the rest of this summer and senior year are going to be filled with even more (especially one in particular... lori knows what i mean hehe) and that we're going to become even closer than we are now.
